AVS Audio Recorder makes creating your own recordings an easy and rewarding experience. Record any audio directly through your computer and save it in any of the most popular formats – MP3, AAC, WAV, M4A, ADPCM or WMA. You can decide on the sample rate, the bit rate, the number of channels used, or the volume settings, and apply correction effects for better results. Recordings can be previewed at any time for quality testing.
The program will detect the different input channels available in your system, so that you can choose the most adequate device for every file. You can record as many files as you wish in a single session, and select you preferred output format every time you start a new recording. You can use uncompressed formats, such as WAV or ADPCM, or more portable ones, like MP3 or WMA.
Depending on the input type selected, you will be allowed to make your recordings not only in mono or stereo, but also in surround or quadraphonic sound, using as many channels as supported. Sample and bit rates change from format to format, always giving you the widest range possible within each audio codec.
